During 2016-2024, I was a professor of mathematics education at the Department of Engineering, Mathematics and Science Education, Mid Sweden University.

During 2011-2012, I was stationed in Melbourne, Australia as a Visiting Scholar at Faculty of Education, Monash University.

During 1996-2008, I was a teacher, then a doctoral student and finally a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Linköping University.
